Why is Astrology Important?
Astrology is one of the great adventures of human civilization and has contributed greatly to people’s lives and to our culture over time. Astrology’s purpose is to use the positions of the planets and stars in the sky to gather information on the individual and on humanity. Astrology is a system that enables us to understand the past, present and the future within a universe full of meaning.

The Zodiac (“Circle of Animals”) is the name given to the band encircling the earth on either side of the ecliptic, the Sun’s path. It is like a belt in space, about 15-18 degrees wide, across which the planets move and form their aspects, or geometrical relationships. The Zodiac forms the symbolic backdrop for the path of the Sun, called the plane of the ecliptic.

Now you may ask yourself, why is any of this information relevant? I’m here to tell you that Astrology is a fun and simple way to really understand yourself as a person. Your sign tells you about your personality and describes who you are as a person. It’s a great way to learn how your daily horoscope reading will affect your daily life. Now, every daily horoscope may or may not be what you expected, but this is based on an average-based scientific study that has been experimented on several different occasions over the course of many years. These readings are based on how the stars line up in the night sky and how astrology and astronomy connect on more of a personal and distinctive level. So, with that being said, try to look up your Zodiac sign and follow the steps to read your daily horoscope. You never know what you can find out about yourself that you might not have known before.
